WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Republicans won’t minimize Social Safety or Medicare, however all the things else is on the desk in talks over elevating the nation’s debt ceiling, U.S. Home Oversight Committee Chair James Comer stated on Sunday.

“If something, we have to shore these packages up. They’re working out of cash. However on the finish of the day, these packages are going to be off the desk with respect to cuts, however all the things else is on the desk,” Comer stated in an interview on ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos.”
